1. Inggison and Gelkmaros Unlocked
The Aion Classic 2.0 update opens up new Balaur lands for players β Inggison and Gelkmaros. These territories mark a new stage of character development, raise the level cap, and add more PvE, PvP, and siege content.
Both zones are built not only as areas for PvE progression, but also as full PvPvE regions. Here, players will constantly have to account for the presence of the opposing faction, keep an eye on travel routes, monitor fortress activity, and fight for access to important in-game features.
With the arrival of these lands, there is now more room for daily activity: leveling, farming, completing missions, hunting elite monsters, fortress battles, boss raids, and clashes with the enemy faction.

Level Cap Raised to 55
The character level cap has been raised to 55. Along with this, new opportunities for development open up: new leveling zones, quests, high-level monsters, equipment, and content for characters level 51+.
Important: to advance to level 51, players must complete a specific set of quests β for Asmodians and Elyos.

New Balaur Lands
Two new territories have been unlocked: Elyos β Inggison, Asmodians β Gelkmaros.
Monsters level 51 and above appear in these lands. The zones become the main focus for further leveling, questing, farming, and PvPvE combat.
Teleport to these locations is available both from the Kaisinel/Marchutan Arena and via the teleporter in the capitals of both factions, after completing the quest Bound for Inggison / Travelling to Gelkmaros.
NPCs selling skill books up to level 55, as well as stigmas up to level 50, can be found in the faction capitals (Sanctum/Pandaemonium), as well as in the main fortresses of the Balaur lands.

Fortresses and Artifacts
Each new region contains 2 fortresses and 4 artifacts.

Fortresses and artifacts become important strategic objectives. Sieges and mass battles between the factions will take place over them. Control of a fortress affects not only regional advantage, but also access to additional content.
Silentera Canyon
If one or more fortresses in a region are captured, a passage into Silentera Canyon opens up.
Silentera Canyon is an important PvPvE zone connecting the Balaur lands. Through it, players can reach the Beshmundir Temple dungeon, as well as pass into the neighboring Balaur lands. Here players may encounter members of the opposing faction.
New Open-World Raid Monsters
New open-world raid bosses appear in the new lands: Inggison β Omega, Gelkmaros β Ragnarok.

After being defeated, these raid monsters respawn after a certain amount of time. They will become an important target for players, and the fight over them may lead to open-world clashes between the factions.
2. Crafting, Skills, and Items
Crafting options have been expanded, new skills have been added for characters level 51β55, and new medal-based equipment has been introduced.
Crafting
New crafting mastery levels have been added. After completing the crafting-advancement quest, mastery can be developed further with the corresponding NPC crafting master for a certain amount of Kinah.
Advancement to Artisan 450+ has been added. The maximum crafting value for a character with Master rank is 541.

Important: a character can only hold Expert rank in one craft.
- New crafting materials have been added for skill levels above 400. They are located in the Balaur lands β Inggison and Gelkmaros.
- Some new materials can only be gathered with a special extraction tool:
- Magical Aether
- Malevite Miasma
- Rough Weathered Object
- Weathered Object
The tool for extracting from wind-filled objects can be purchased from certain NPCs in the field zones. Tools for gathering aether and gas can be purchased in the capitals and fortresses.
Skills
New skills have been added, along with higher levels of existing skills.
Ways to obtain skills:
| Skill Books | Purchased at the Cloister of Kaisinel/Convent of Marchutan of your faction for Kinah |
| Normal Stigmas | Obtained by defeating monsters |
| Greater Stigmas | Purchased at the Cloister of Kaisinel/Convent of Marchutan of your faction for Abyss Points, or in the Inggison and Gelkmaros fortresses |
Items and Equipment
New Elite Primus Pilu's equipment has been added, available from NPCs in Gelkmaros and Inggison, as well as in the temples of your own capitals. The equipment and weapons can be purchased with the new Black Gold Medal.

Obtaining Medals
- By KKM siege, siege of Divine Fortress and siege in Balaur Lands, also in Esoterrace.
- By completing daily quests at the Inggison and Gelkmaros fortresses. If your faction has captured a fortress in the opposing region, the quest must be obtained and completed there as well.
- By completing the daily quest in Silentera Canyon for killing players of the opposing faction β a medal may drop from the chest.
- Through Esoterrace assignments (one-time) and weekly alliance quests for the Siege of the Inggison and Gelkmaros fortresses.
3. Windstream Travel System Added

The update adds a travel system based on windstreams. Windstreams look like currents of air. If a character enters such a current while gliding or flying, they automatically begin moving in the direction of the windstream.
While traveling through a windstream:
- the flight gauge does not decrease;
- the character cannot be attacked;
- the character cannot attack;
- movement happens automatically in the direction of the current.
There are several types of windstreams. Purple-blue streams can be left while traveling, while blue/teal-blue streams cannot be interrupted β they carry the character all the way to the end of the route.
Windstreams help players move faster across the new territories and make it easier to reach key points in Inggison and Gelkmaros.
4. Geyser Travel System Added

The update adds a travel feature using geysers and updraughts.
These currents help players climb to higher areas of a zone, reach hard-to-access spots, or get onto windstreams.
If a character enters an updraught while gliding, the current lifts them upward. Geysers work in a similar way: if a character is positioned above a geyser, a powerful blast of air launches them into the air.
Some geysers are guarded by named monsters. Once these are defeated, the geyser activates and players can use it for travel.
5. Instances
Udas Temple and Lower Udas Temple

The temple was once built on the orders of Balaur Lord Beritra, who used fanatical humans as his labor force. Later, the Siel's Spear Legion attacked the temple, wiped out the fanatics, and destroyed it. The temple stood empty for a long time, but it has now been reoccupied by the Balaur and the Dragonbound.
Their goal is to free Stormwing and reach the Energy Source of the ancient giant hidden in the Jotun Studio.
| Instance | Description | Elyos Entrance | Asmodian Entrance | Entry Limit |
| Udas Temple | A ruined temple, reoccupied by the Balaur and the Dragonbound. This is the first stage of the Udas storyline and connects to further progress into the Lower Udas Temple. | Inggison, Undirborg Temple Entrance | Gelkmaros, Subterranea Temple Entrance | Once every 6 hours |
| Lower Udas Temple | A deeper part of the complex, including the temple's underground areas, the Jotun Studio, and the Toxic Caverns. Here the Dragonbound attempt to reach the Energy Source of the ancient giant. | Inggison, Undirborg Temple Entrance | Gelkmaros, Subterranea Temple Entrance | Once every 6 hours |

Summary:
- two connected instances are available: Udas Temple and Lower Udas Temple;
- entrances are located in Inggison and Gelkmaros;
- each instance is available once every 6 hours for characters lvl 51+;

Beshmundir Temple

Beshmundir Temple is considered a Balaur burial ground, where warriors who died a glorious death in battle are laid to rest. After the Cataclysm, the dragon Stormwing was sealed here, having proclaimed himself the sixth Dragon Lord.
To enter Beshmundir Temple, players must first open the passage into Silentera Canyon, which requires capturing fortresses in Inggison and Gelkmaros.

Taloc's Hollow

Taloc is a holy tree located in the south-western part of Inggison. Inside it lies a special space filled with aether energy. After strange changes began occurring, it became known that the cause might be fragments of the Tower of Eternity that survived from the Cataclysm.
Because of the pressure inside the space and the creatures absorbing aether there, Taloc reached out to the Daevas for help. Only those connected to the ancients, and willing to help restore the balance, can enter.
