This article addresses the most common issues related to using our launcher and provides solutions to resolve them.
⚠️ The launcher does not open or shows an error upon startup.
Solution: Ensure you are using Windows 8.1 (with all updates) or higher. Windows 10 or Windows 11 is recommended.
⚠️ After launching the launcher, nothing appears, a white screen is displayed, or there is a server connection error.
Solution: Delete the DATA folder from the launcher directory.
⚠️ After launching the launcher, an infinite spinning circle appears.
Solution:
Open the Command Prompt (CMD) as an administrator.
Run the command:
reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\AionEmpire" /v "launcher_node_cache_v1" /f
⚠️ Upon startup, the message "Account not activated" appears.
Solution: Confirm your email address. Check all folders in your mailbox, including "Spam," "Junk," and others.
⚠️ Errors occur during game or update downloads.
Solution:
In the launcher settings, change the download method to HTTP or TORRENT (depending on which method is causing the error).
If changing the method does not help, switch the launcher language to another to connect to alternative servers.
⚠️ Download speed is very low, and the game does not fully download.
Solution: Ensure the "Read-only" attribute is removed from the entire game folder.
⚠️ After launching the game, the error "Could not connect to update servers" appears.
Solution:
Antivirus or third-party software is blocking the anti-cheat: Add the game to the antivirus exceptions or temporarily disable it.
Programs used to bypass restrictions interfere with the anti-cheat: Add the game to their exceptions or temporarily disable such programs.
⚠️ The error "Missing DLL game_presence" appears.
Solution: Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from the website:
